De Akker Camping Villages: Citrusdal Camping Accommodation
Each De Akker ‘camping village’ (maximum six spread along a 200m stretch) comprises a 7.5/10m Bedouin freeform marquee with an excellent outlook over the water, and one to three (depending on group size) canvas tents pitched underneath and equipped with 3/4 mattresses, cotton percale bedding, blankets, and Towels. You have your own braai grid and utensils, chairs, tables, electric light, cooler box, etc, etc.
Furthermore, every village has its own power point – let’s you forget that camping is hard work.

From Cape Town to your accommodation at De Akker Camping Villages:
Take the N1 direction Paarl. Take the N7 turnoff (left) toward Malmesbury. Continue on the N7 for 175km. Take the turn-off right from the N7 highway towards Citrusdal. When you enter Citrusdal, stop at the first stop street carry on straight ahead towards Ceres. Continue over the mountain pass cross a single track bridge. After the bridge continue for approx 200m untill you see Allandale farm turn-off to your right. Continue on this road that becomes a gravel road and follow the camp site directions “kampeer plek”.
